ETC is Standard Output SO 235hp, ETH is High Output - 245 hp, higher compression, slightly different VP44, supposed to be slightly different valve seats, and a few other things on the ETH

ETH (HO) doesn't respond as well to boxes....hence the less gains with the box. They do however LOVE injectors.

The HO's dont respond as well to box's because they use a different injection pump that puts out more pressure but less volume. And the injectors are actually smaller on the ETH than on the ETC. Thats why ETH respond better to injectors.

ETH's have 7.0 mm plungers in the VP44. ETC's have 7.5 mm.

In addition to the disadvantage of the smaller plungers, ETH's fuel more through the VP44 in stock form than ETC's, so when a fueling box is added, there is less to be gained.
