Emergency Brake
Emergency Brake
My emergency brake is down to floor and will not hold
. I see there is an adjustment for the cable but is there another adjustment on each rear wheel. I have disc brakes all the way around. Do you have to remove the rear wheels or do you go thru the backing plate like the old drum types? Also how do you get the wrench on the cable adjustment, I can't get a hold of the nut!
I have about 50% rear brakes left.

Parking Brake (they don't call them emergency brakes anymore) is seperate from the disc brakes.
It's a little drum brake on the back of the disc, and is adjusted through the access hole like old style drum brakes.
Since it's going to the floor, I'd guess there's something else going on, as they don't usually wear out unless you've done a lot of driving with the parking brake engaged.
