When I click my remote to lock or unlock the truck, the driver's side lock does not move. If I help it along, however, it will. I tried lubing the place where it actually slides along the door channel, but it didn't really help.
Can I take the door panel off and directly lube the motor itself?
If not, how much is one of those lock motors?

it's just a solenoid. get new or go to wrecking yard. if its a 2001 it may under warranty based on mileage/inservice date.

If I remember correctly the pn ending with the odd # is the L side. 55076291ab.....gettin cold up there yet? I'm still looking at Billings.
