E-brake adjustment

My E/Parking brake seems to be just about out of travel. (had very little even with new shoes etc.)

How do u adjust it??

Thanks.

I just hate it when u park the truck running and it wants to roll away.

How is the adjustment on your back shoes?
You may just need to tighten them up a little. I got 46 turns on the right side on mine and it stops like a truck should now and the brake only goes down about six clicks before it holds.

The Dodge service manual is very emphatic in bold with exclamation marks about NOT adjusting the PB cable until the rear brake system has been checked out thoroughly. They say the cable never needs to be adjusted unless brake parts have been replaced.

Back the e-brake cable off 1st then adjust up your rear brakes real good then adjust your e-brake. Your cables may also be stretched.
