Hello all, I am planning on converting my DRW truck to a SRW and I have a question about the new wheels. My truck is a 4X4 so if I remove the front wheel adapters the new front wheels should be lugcentric "Right"? so no problem there. On the rear axle I plan on keeping the original Dana 80 and just put on SRW wheels so the new rear wheels will still be hubcentric "right"?.
Now, if you are still following me, I need to know if there is a factory wheel I can use for the rear axle that will match the front axle.
Any Ideas?

 

if you search for "drw swr" you will find a bunch of reading from people who have already done this, then you could PM them any questions you have.

One thing I'm pretty sure you'll have to do is after you take the front adapters off you'll need to knock the studs out and drill out the holes bigger and install bigger studs. The inner studs on the drw's are smaller than the outer ones I pretty sure.

as far as wheels I believe you can use any srw wheels and for lug nuts you'll also need the "coined" lugnuts font and rear then both will be lugcentric, I'm pretty sure you can't use the drw lugnuts on the srw wheels.

I could be completly wrong on all this but this is what I remember from researching this some time ago. Hope it helps.....Josh
