will a standard cab door work on an extended cab both trucks are 96's

Think you guys are talking Quad cab to standard cab. He has both as 96 models, no Quad cab available.

My 97 parts manual lists the same doors for both, so I would assume the 96 is the same way.

Sorry, my bad. I don't know about the CC's, but the quad door is square at the rear bottom and the standard is pretty radiused.

Regular cab doors are the same as club cab doors, I used regular cab doors on my 97 club cab. Quad cab doors are square at the back corner and they will hit the cab when you try to shut it.
