So for the high beam indicator it is just a matter of jumping those two pins?
Thanks very much.

Re:DLRs went kapooie
Actually I don't know whether they have switched from bulb to LED in the high beam indicator. You can test this by using an ohmmeter on pin3 and ground- try it one way first, then reverse the measuring pins- if you see the same resistance you have a bulb, if not you have a LED. Measure for voltage on the same pin with the headlights on, if there is you will need a relay to ground this pin to light the indicator (assuming you have a bulb you'll see 12V, for a LED around 2V) -so if this checks out fine, just measure for voltage on pin8 with high beams on and off, you should see 12V with the high beams on only. If you have a bulb and you see 12V on pin8 with the high beams, do the jumper.

Re:DLRs went kapooie
I had to have an aftermarket module added to mine. Since it was originally slated for use in the US, it didn't have the running lights. Come to find out, the wiring harness is different between the Canadian and US models (according to the dealership). Go figure. I think I saw an aftermarket DRL kit at Canadian Tire for around 25-30 bucks.
