VP44 went south
On the way to work monday morning, my truck acted as if ran out of fuel and would not restart. I took the truck to Cummins, and they said I was going to need a new injector pump. The funny thing, is that I had no signs that it was going out, no hard starting, smoking(other than good smoke), and no stumbling. The other thing, is that my lift pump was good, and this is after 120k miles. Has anyone else lost an injector pump even when their lift pump was putting out good pressure? ???

Aah. So that's what that was. Saw it go by. That little bugger goes pretty good. Looked good when I saw it. Man o man vp 44 went south. With all the other problems we got don't send any bad pumps down here. We'll send it right back. :P.

PT
