Dash covers

My dash is cracking and vibrating when going down the road. I want to glue the cracks so they quit vibrating or use some duck tape and put a new cover on it. Im not much on the carpet ones, has anybody used one of these from geno's??

I've got one in my shop painted and ready to go in....I'm just too lazy to do it. I looked into an OEM from Dodge but was quoted $1005 and they were on national backorder, at least that's what the dealer told me. Anyway, I siliconed my cracks and will soon put in on. I did a dry fit and it does fit very nice and I don't think anyone will be the wiser. One thing I didn't like was it covers up the bolts under the windshield so you will have to cut it off if you need to gain access to your evaporator core, etc.

I need to get either the one from Geneo's or LMC. Just what is the diff between them? Has anyone used the LMC one?

I got mine for about $169. Tok 4 hours to install. never found any kind of glue that would make the chunks stick together. There's really no solution to the cracking other than replacment. In time, the chunks will fall out and they'll be nothing to lay a dash mat up on. Be sure you transfer the vin tag to the new part.

If your dealers quoting $1005, get a new dealer.
