Cruise control and a/c problem

Hey guys,
Well I will start by saying I am not very knowledgable when it comes to vehicles but I am always trying to learn. I just returned home from vacation and on the drive back the cruise control didn't work, and at the same time the a/c only came out of the the defroster vents and down at the floor and not around the instrument panel. I took a look under the hood and noticed a problem with what I think you would call a vaccuum line (told you i am not very knowledgable. I posted a pic of the broken line and was wondering if that would cause both my cruise control and a/c problem. If so, do you know what I should replace?

Thanks a lot for your help,
Brandt

Yes, that would cause BOTH problems, it looks like it's just unplugged?

I do not think I can plug it back in, I believe the rubber sleeve that holds the plastic tubing together broke so i cant push it back in.

K, just pull the pieces and get some at any auto parts store. You will probably have to buy a foot unless they feel sorry for you and give you a little bit.

What they said. Good time to go over all of the lines and replace as necessary.

Did you check all the lines? I had to replace some connections on the hoses that go down to the front end for the 4WD actuator.
