Mine started about 80,000 and is cracked all to h*** now . I am going to look at options to cover it because it sure is embarrassing.

Honestly the cover is ok and unless you still have reasonably good support to the front by the windshield then your dash will eventually self destruct. Full dash replacement isn't that bad...I'll try and get my picks from this weekend posted. I was thinking about selling my plastic dash cover which worked well for 6yrs.

2002, ~400k(250 miles) is when it started cracking, ~ mid 2012.

I was detailing my truck today and it has 133XXX miles on it. I've always used vinyl dressing on interior including dash and sun cover to protect dash and keep interior cool.
I just noticed 1" crack starting, sure ruined rest of my day.

Finally finished up the dash top and front gauge bezel replacement. Purchased replacement parts from LMC and used their reinforcement tabs hoping this never happens again. Bezel was hydrographic dipped. Look closely and you can see the finished product. Overall, tearout and replacement took about 1.5hr, pretty happy how it turned out and wow, it doesn't rattle at all!

With the cammo you won't know if it does crack. You won't be able to see it.

Lol...yea true. People get in and the first thing they do is touch it...thinking is a cloth overlay or glued to the dash.

It really does look neat. Maybe I should get one to occupy the Waf so she won't tell me how to drive.

I think I posted this someplace else in its own topic, but FYI the 3m emblem and trim adhesive stuff will fix cracks really well. put some in between, line it up and tape it tight overnight. mine had a couple big cracks down the center hasnt come back after a year or so.
man I like that digital camo dash, looks sweet.
