About a gazillion screws. Make sure you get those tinny little fingers in there!

Dash

Replaced, my Texas dash, last summer, myself.
Pretty basic remove the bezel, drop the steering column, tilt the dash as far forward as possible and start to remove screws, yes, lots of them (the trick is not to have any extra screws when finished).
Four tools that will help you out,
a stubby philips screw driver with a magnetic tip,
And a small telescopic and adjustable head mirror about 2x3 inches, I think they call them inspection mirrors.
A pair of small hands help and a digital camera.
Take plenty of reference photos and separate your screws that you remove.
Take me a good 6 hours, not knowing what I was doing and had no extra screws when finished.
The tough ones are the defrost vents in the top of the dash, this is where the mirror and the magnetic stubby, really help.
I can pull one now, in about an hour.
I have an extra grey one, with the bezel, if any one needs one.
Good luck and don't get frustrated, take your time.

Hey Big Wally,
Did you get a dodge factory replacement? I got the one from Genos and it didn't have all the screw holes for the defrost vents. Only two that held the side window defrost vents in place. then the 5 along the dash near the glass. Just curious where you got yours. I had a lot of screws left over since those defrost holes weren't there.

dash

Swordfish, I pulled it at a (self-serve) wrecking yard.
Not hard, to find.
By pulling it, yourself, this will give you an idea, how tough, they are to replace.
As far as screws go, as well as I can remember, the top vents (defroster)
they had 2 screws per vent.
With no windshield, it would be an easy job.
Go to a wrecker, I paid 40.00 for mine, that was with the bezel.
Good luck.
