Re:Coolant drain

There is and its on the right side of the rad if I remember correctly. To be honest I woud suggest getting a 5 gallon pail and just pulling the lower rad hose off, I found this much easier than trying to use the drain **** on the rad.

Good Luck

Re:Coolant drain

There is a drain plug on the bottom left. It is right below the lower turbo boot going into the inercooler. Just trun and pull back it should start flowing. Take off you radiator cap it helps the fluid to flush out.

Re:Coolant drain

I knew there had to be one somewhere. I do like the idea of taking off the lower radiator hose. I did that on my old 92 and it drained out in only a few minutes. Thanks a ton!!!!

Re:Coolant drain

Go gently with that drain! They break easily, and turn hard!

I think it turns 1/4, then comes out a bit, and turns some more....

Re:Coolant drain

Snap it off and you will be large cash in the hole. Seen that happen before. Cant beat pulling the hose as its safe and easy.
