Converting from single to dual power seats

I just got a leather seats from the local salvage yard. I am just wondering what I need to convert from a single to dual power heated seat. I got the big connector to go with the seat but the old single connector only has three wires and the new one has ten (2 for the heated seat option). If anyone has any knowledge about this it would be much appriciated. Thanks.

I looked through all the manuals I have and can't find a pinout or diagram for the seats at all. It should just be power, ground, and the seatbelt wire to get them to work shouldn't it?

I've got seats sitting in my garage and just got a manual from Geno's, if I find anything I'll let you know but I'm probably a week away from starting, I'm going for no power to the power heated on both seats, I have the 10 wire pig tail but the salvage yard cut the other end off when removing the seats

Hope you can find something. I've got the factory Daimler/Chrysler Service manual and Diagnostic manuals. Can't find a wiring diagram for anything other than the switch on the side. I'm not hooking up the heat on mine, just want the power adjustments because they're all the way forward and I can't even get in the truck right now...

Well, the original wires from my single power seat are red/blue tracer, black/green tracer, and green/red tracer. I got them figured out at least to power the seat adjustments. Just ran a jumper from the red wire and black wire to the corresponding wires in the new seats. I think the green wire is for the seatbelt chime. Still haven't found any kind of diagram for them though. I talked to the guy I got them from and he's looking today to see if he has the whole harness and heat switches.

Good topic. A buddy of mine did do a conversion like that. I wasent present for that though but I did hear about having to wire in a connector for the seats. If I can catch up with him I will have a look. I would love to have late second gen dual 6 way power/heated leathers in my '95. Being as I already have 6 way on the driver.
