what was the first yr. they put in CTD and how much function in 94 mine 12-93

Not sure when a computer was first used.
On your '94 all it controls are the grid heaters, automatic tranny TC lock-up, cruise control, tach and speedo. The engine really doesn't need the PCM to run.

are you asking when did dodge first put the cummins in the truck or the computer controlled cummmins in?

i think the first cummins was in 1989

the computer controlled one started in 1998.5 with the 24 valve

the computer doesnt really do much in the 12 valves

im sure someone will chime in on how much the computer controls the 12 valves

edit: not fast enuf infidel beat me
