OK THANKS - - I thought thats what it meant.

How can you get the codes on a '97 gasser - the odometer is not digital.
my friend is having transmission trouble. It will not shift from first - it's a auto.

The check engine like will blink,,, Count the blinks and it will tell you the codes... Do the key forward three times just like the diesels.
