You blew the IOD fuse. It is the fuse with the funky cover over it. It is kind of a pain to get out, but pull hard and it will come. You can either a) just put a fuse in it's place or b) curse and moan trying to get the fuse out of the holder and put a new one in that dagone holder! Your choice.......I usually pick a) !

vzdude, Thanks for the info I checked all the fusses but the airbag ones and the iod one I figured those covers meant I shouldn't mess with them. I probably won't put the cover back on that one. What does iod mean anyways, thankyou.

Ignition Off Draw. Has the memory for the radio, the mirrors, and the dome lights. All the things that need power when the key is off.

thanks for the info, I wonder whats so impotant that it needs that cover. I guess so you don't pull it and lose the radio's memory

The cover makes it easy to pull out enough to not make contact, but to still be held in the fuse box. Some people that let their truck set, pull that fuse to help keep the battery from draining. Also have to plug that fuse in when doing a pre - delivery inspection on the new vehicles......they leave them out from the factory too.
