bumper paint update?

About a month ago a couple of guys were talking about painting the plastic on the bumper with Krylon Fusion paint. I did mine yesterday and like the results, just wondering if I can expect it to last. CJ

My little brother did it about a little over a month ago and it still lookes great. He did take it easy on it for about a week, but there is no chipping at all after quite a few miles.

Holding up great. Still shines and none has chipped off. I have worked in the engine bay alot over the past month so ive been standing, neeling, on it and it held up well. The only thing ive noticed is that the bugs seem to be harder to get off. I only used a brush to clean the truck so, mabye a little elbow grease and a rag will get it off, as ive not tried yet.

It holds up extremely well. I did mine in black about a month ago and it looked perfect until last week when I hit a deer. Afterward, the plastic pieces are pretty mangled, but the paint never came off. The only places you can see the original plastic color is where it was gouged. It bonds really well, I was skeptical before, but after this, I have no doubt that is would hold up for a long time.

Does anyone have any pictures of a painted bumper? I would like to have some examples before I go and do it.

Unfortunately, the file is too big for me to post a picture of the front bumper after the durability test. If your curious send me your email address and I'll send it to you. The good news is that the truck comes home from the shop tomorrow.
