I'm looking at adding factory fog lights to my truck as well as the sport lights. I want to make sure I can put bulbs in that match (the fogs and the headlights). So, are the bulbs in the factory fog lights for second gens replaceable? What is the number? I looked in the manual and it gave me a 800 number (not phone number, the part number). Does that translate to H1, H2, or H3 or somethng like that?

 

Yes, they are replaceable. I can't remember the bulb model off the top of my head, but I know I have one lying around from replacing one in my previous truck. If you don't get a good answer by this evening I'll take a look. I just happened to think, the Sylvania website might list it, as well. They have a decent application lookup engine, if I remember correctly.

 

I just replaced the whole light when bird knocked one of mine out. I replaced both of them.

 

#893 is the correct bulb # for the foglights......I have a set of #893 Silverstar bulbs in my foglights that match the headlights and they work well.....
