Brakes Pullling To The Left

This Is Weird. When I Hit The Brakes The First Time The Truck Pulls To The Left But The Steering Wheel Does Not Turn. When I Hit The Brake Pedal A Second Time The Truck Brakes Straight As An Arrow. So I Check And Adjust The Rears. The Shoes Look Brand New And The Truck Has 153,000 Miles On It. The Problem Continues. So I Raise The Truck And Spin The Front Tires And They Only Travel About One Turn And I Gave Them A Pretty Good Spin. Recently I Replaced The Pads And Cleaned And Lubed The Pins. Could I Have Two Bad Calipers And How Can I Check Them? Thanks For Any Help Or Ideas.

Pull the front calipers, and put the tires back on and spin them. Also grab them at 12 and 6 o'clock and check for movement top to bottom, then try side to side holding the tire and 3 and 9 o'clock. Could be the unit bearings.

caliper lube

So i decide to get off my lazya## and take the calipers off. Pad wear is even. I had to use a drift and rubber hammer to get the pins out of the calipers on both sides. The caliper lube that I had put in about two months ago was cooked and had turned into some kind of tar that would not allow the caliplers to slide at all. So why is the caliper lube cooking and what should I use instead.

track bar

The track bar is less than a year old and I have no sign of the death wobble. I also replaced the control arms about four weeks ago. Good thought though, thanks!

Caliper lube

I drove the truck last night and it stops as straight as an arrow now. I am still looking for a lube that won't cook like that. Any suggestions?

bleeding

Did you bleed your brakes? If your brakes aren't properly bled then it can cause excessive heat to occur which would cook the pin lube. When you get out of the truck do you notice any smell of hot brakes. After I did a brake job I had issues with pulling and had to bleed my brakes again and had some air in the lines that was causing the problems. When you take our your pins make sure to clean the caliper surface as well. Sounds like heat is an issue if you use specific lube for the pin and it cooked. Just my .02 cents.
