Brake lights won't turn off

Brake lights won't turn off
anything else I can check besides the brake switch? I checked that, I even pulled the stop lamp fuse from the dash, and the big 50 amp headlight/brakelight fuse under the hood, still won't turn off

if you unplug the stoplight switch it's still on?

sounds like a hot wire is chaffed through into your brake light wires?

Pull the taillite bulbs , sometimes the contacts will heat up and mingle , doing all kinds of odd things , trailer wiring harness , theres one thats allways hot , at least on my truck .

Thinking that it could possibly be a bad trailer brake controller. I have had one stick slightly engaged before.
