bhaf tubing, boots, elbows bends etc
Ok so I an wondering what kind of boots you guys used & pipe & degree of bends, length etc did you use for your bhaf set up? As I'm about to start trying to piece what I need together. Any pix you guys have would be great! Thanks in advance

For mine I used the heat shield template, some 1.5mm aluminium sheet metal, 3 nuts, 3 short pieces of rubber hose to cover the nuts and the stock intake hose.
I just clamped it onto the BHAF and this worked fine for more than 100 k miles.
Only thing that was a little problematic was that the BHAF was slippery, but a shop rag and some brake cleaner took care of that.

If you want a clean look then get a hold of aFe and see if they have any Stage 1 Cold Air Intake System shield/box for the air filter but without the filter. Its almost identical to the DIY heat shield schematics found online for these year trucks. Trouble is the Stage 1 filter system has been discontinued and replaced with the Stage 2, so I couldn't say if they have any more but its worth a call.
