I need new negative battery cable ends and don't really want to go with the cheap clamp ons with the 2 bolts, like you find at Auto Zone. Any ideas?

 

If I remembered the name of the company I would give it to you, but, sorry, I don't. Do a search as this subject comes up from time to time. There are some good ones out there but be prepared to spend a little more than you think.

But remember, probably the last set of clamps you will need to buy. Kevin

thanks for the links kd460.I will check with NAPA and see if they have the criming tool to install the mil spec ends, great idea.

 

I didnt read the link but you can try a welding supply store. They should be able to hook you up with a terminal lug that will fit on a side post battery.

 

Try this place- battery cables REALLY Reasonable and they are equivalent to OEM with cast on terminals.
