Throttle cable ends
Throttle cable ends
I want to finally replace my plastic throttle cable ends to the metal ones, does mopar have a part number for them? I'd much rather buy from a dealer then cummins. My plastic ends are still good just figured they are getting olkd and prob won't last long and I don't want one of those breaking while im driving it
go to a carquest store and get some metal ends that swivel and come with the ***** that go in the sockets. They're 1/4 in fine thread pitch. Then get some nuts and a piece of ready rod and your set. Works way better than the stock and is not gonna break. Total cost about 20 bux and a little time.
Lawnmower repair shops have all sorts of ball-socket linkage accessories and parts.
I had a ball-socket linkage break on a Michigan loader, the one that shifted forward/reverse, searched all over with no luck, then was working on the riding mower and hanging underneath was about half a dozen of the exact same joints.
So, I promptly went to the friendly neighborhood lawnmower shop and came out with what I needed.
