I just called Optima to find out the dealio.... They say they are the same products...Costco only carries the smaller Optimas where the Interstate dealer carries all of them.... And they just opened up a plant in Mexico... Can you say cheap labor?? So, on that note... My batt is basically just bigger than yours.....

I used the biggest batteries from interstate that I could fit.
I did put a blue top on my boat, and love it.

With AGM technology available the only reason to run a lead acid battery is they are cheap. If you take pride in your ride you would use an AGM battery.

I take pride in paying only $170 for 2 great batteries instead of $360 for great "looking" batteries. Unless you do some serious off-roading I see no problem with traditional lead acid batteries. I've put 185,000 miles and 7 years on a total of two sets of batteries (the OEMs and Duralast Golds) with nary a leak.... That means $190 of more beer in my fridge....

have Optima yellow tops never had any issues, I had them left over from the huge stereo so that worked out well for me, I had walmarts abtteries 1000 cca's and there is a reason they have a 3 year warantee, you will use it, and also stay away from (n)everstart I think pepboys sells them, complete junk, good luck
