Which replacement batteries?

Well, after only 2.5 yrs. one of my batteries has taken a crap. Everyone sya if you replace one, replace both. Dealership wants $150/ EACH!!! So, what batteries are ya'll using as replacements? I like the idea of getting them from Walmart 'cause of the 3 yr. full replacement. Also I go camping & hunting far from big cities & there is always a Walmart around the corner. Anybody use Walmart batteries? TIA

I like Duralast so far in my car, and would try in my truck in a heartbeat. About 1/2 the price of the *********** batteries.

NAPA batteries do great for me, they will go in my truck when the stockers die.

Odyssy, more CCA power and 1700 peak CCA's longer lasting and no catastrophic failures. You get notified when they need replacing.

DITTO on the Duralast, use in my car and my previous Powerjoke. I used the Duralast Gold from Auto Zone at I believe around $80 a piece. Good warranty and superb battery. IMHO.

I have had very bad experience with Wal-Mart batteries.

Replaced 4 in 3 years in my old truck. My brother and father have also found bad luck with the Wal-Mart brand batteries.

I won't need batteries for awhile, but Odyssey's are going in when the time comes.

I guess I'm lucky, cause my '03 is still starting like a champ on the 2 factory batteries.

I've heard that Wal-mart batteries are reconditioned and have also heard of many people having problems with them in short periods of time. I wouldn't hesitate on them for some things but I want something reliable in my truck. Just an opinion.
