Autobody dash not so good
Autobody dash not so good
I am in the process of installing this dash.

I had to move some holes & do without some others that were missing ie support for some of air ducts. I went to install the airbag and bezel. The slots for the airbag needed to be widened. The bezel doesn't fit as the dash circumference around the drivers instruments is too big. All in all, I'll return it I find a good alternative. A cover won't work since the dash is gone.
Alternatives: LMC is out of stock for 9-10 weeks or longer depending on shipping from overseas.
Genos sells the same dash as above. Are there any good replacements out there?

And for some reason Dodge does not think there is a problem with the dash material in these trucks, how odd......

I've actually considered buying some fiberglass and just laying it over the dash in the truck, then sanding and painting. By the time I get concerned about it I'll have scrapped the truck! Wish I could find a good Ford Cab to put on this dodge frame.....hahaha! Hmmm, that might be something to consider....
I can't help with locating any other replacements. Geno's and LMC are the only ones I've seen. Thought Geno's was supposed to be pretty good. I priced one out at the dodge dealer, around $1500 for ALL of the stuff you had to buy because of some changes or something, no wonder dodge don't want to do a recall! I hate buying something then having to "modify" it because it's not exactly right. I can "modify" the dash I got for less than three bills. Good luck and let us know what you find.

Junk man,
I got the same dash with the same results. I got mine to fit, but it is less than stellar. I have heard others say the LMC dash is the way to go as it is a great fit. If I had to do it again and right now, I would wait the 10 weeks....They actually have matching factory colors as well.
