AUTO day/night rear view mirror problem

Well a few weeks ago after 6 years I finally turned off the power via the little switch on the mirror. Why I dont really know. This past weekend I went to turn it on and it wont stay on. If I push it on the light for it comes on but as soon as I release it it turns off. It doesnt stay depressed in. Anyone torn into one of these mirrors and looked at that switch in there. Is it serviceable?

Not a good weekend for the gremlins in the truck. Also lost the fan control switch.

Super glue my friend. The switch prob has little plastic tabs that hold it when pressed and were brittle thus breaking loose. I would take it off and hold it upside down and glue it in the on postition.
