I have looked into the Thuren. I'm not sold as of yet. But that's just me, I'm not saying it's not a good product or anything.

I like the idea of the SolidSteel mounts and the way they distribute weight without welding.

The Skyjacker relocation bracket required grinding and adding a bolt-on support, so this was an impressive piece to me. Don didn't build the kit for ease of install by a backyard mechanic (me!), it's built for abuse (IMHO).
Which lift kit do you have on your truck? How did they relocate the track bar in the first place?

I bought mine thru KLM too. They seemed to be a little bit cheaper than the other dealers, and My first one actually got lost by FedEx. I called KLM and they got back to me with what happened to it within 5 mins. and shipped another one to me next day air and didn't charge me for it. I was very happy with the service.

While I'm at it, does anyone with the SolidSteel adjustable track bar have a lot of play in the bushings? Mine has atleast an 1/8" of play, if not more in the bushings which seemed odd to me since they are polyurethane. I called SolidSteel about it, and they sent me another set of bushings to try, but I havn't gotten around to putting them in yet.

Installing mine, I had a deal of a time inserting the bolts as they were very tight. The bushings in the bar had no play either, so I would say right now, without rechecking, that I have NO play in mine.

I was hoping for a bigger improvement but I think my box might be worn.

If you are lifted you'll probably really enjoy it but for stock you might not see a huge difference.

I got mine at a local shop here in Alberta.
I've had mine on for a couple years now. No problems. I also did the DSS at the same time. For the steering play, try adjusting the preload on the steering box. I turned it in about 1/4 to 1/2 turn and it really tightened up the steering feel.
