Single as in not married, no kids, no attachments

I'm gonna delete the link, good point Forrest. How's 8500 sound for an offer? I keep calling, no answer though.

Looks pretty nice, mileage is a little high but nothing horrible. I can't help but appreciate the person who put this in....
3.54 axle ratio, 5.9L (360) MPI V8 MAGNUM engine
Obviously the VIN and pictures are that of the CTD.

Yea I emailed them about that as well. It was some generic informational thing from auto trader or something. Carfax came back clean as well. What do you think is a fair price to offer? I felt around 9k was a fair offer, but i'm not too sure. Mileage doesn't scare me too bad. Whatever I buy is going to be something I keep for a *very* long time, and will likely get retired when the body rots off or parts are no longer available. That's why I'm not looking to spend much. I can't see spending 20-30k on a vehicle and never getting my money back out of it in some way. Not saying it wouldn't be worth it, but 20-30k is a lot to invest if it's going to be driven until it dies if you ask me.

Did that make sense?

No offense taken at all. Heck, if she took offense to it she can take a walk. That's how concerned I am about it

$8500 for a 98 12 valve?! Sign me up. KBB is $9300 but I don't know the mileage, I put in 200k. I know that I would like the price, I paid near twice as much for my 24v 98.5 (with 100 kmi). I pulled up KBB at that time, it was $16k.
On the subject of choosing: I'd take the 12v 98 with the same mileage as 01 for the same price.

I had a 99 club cab 1500 that I liked very much. Less outside noise and it felt a bit more solid. That being said, I was the only one that used it. Now, just finished a 3300 mile trip in the 2001 and really appreciated the quad doors so my kids could get in the back. Either way, you still have to open the front door to access the back seat. My wife likes the club more for loading groceries and stuff though. Good luck!

Looks like it's going to be the 24 valve, as the seller of the 12 valve absolutely refuses to negotiate on price. I guess that settles it
