Panel Outlet Barrel Removal. Note- never reinstall barrels that have been removed from the passenger side airbag door area. Allways install new ones. Use a trim stick or other flat bladed tool and gently pry near the center of either side of the panel outlet barrel. This should release the snap fit pivots that hold the barrel in. Just snap the new one in. I would pull the airbag fuses first, it I was doing it. I heard it didn't take too many days to vacume up all the fine white dust that comes out when they deploy, and they practically give the airbags away at the dealer if you need a new one. :
