air pressure with goodyear wrangler mt/r's???

I have mt/r's and wanna know what air pressure anyone else is running with these tires. They are 305's on factory aluminum wheels. I can't seem to find a smooth riding pressure. Right now, I'm running 50 in front and 40 in rear. These tires only have a 50 psi max. Also, can anyone suggest the proper tire rotation pattern for these tires? I've rotated once putting rears on front and fronts on rear(didn't cross fronts to the back. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to DTR!

I rotate @ 5-7,000 miles and do 'back to front .....cross front over to backs'. This seems best way to erase any cupping that may shows up on fronts....if you have 4x4?

For best tire pressure...see good info here...
