Question Tire Size

Need tires for my 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 4X4 and the door states tire requirements are - 245 X 75 X 16. Will it be ok to mount 235 X 85 X 16 tires on the rims? I have four tires and would like to use them!

Thanks in advance

Yup, 235/85's will fit on the factory steel rims fine......the 235/85's will be roughly 3/8" skinnier and about 2" taller than the OEM 245/75's.

Will look great also...fill up wheel well better.
They are 'E' rated right? Most I've seen in that size are.
Speedo will be 5 - 10mph lower than actual speed!
