Air bag Problems

So I was driving home on the forth and my Air Bag light started coming on and then turning off. Did it MANY times on the way home and since. Found recall for 01 dodges but not myne for the clock spring causing problems. Talked to the dealer and they said it was a VIN SPECIFIC recall and my truck did not fall under it. Anybody have this problem, what was the fix. I dont want it to deploy while I am driving down the road. HELP, lol

Is the cruise still working? I would bet it is the clock spring. BigBlue just went throught this problem a month or so ago and it was the clock spring.

So the cruise will not work when this happens. What pisses me off is i am pretty sure that it is the clock spring and there is a recall for the 01 dodges but my truck was made 7 days after they say that no other trucks were affected. so its my bill. gay
