Firestone Air-Bag's Air Pump

Where in the heck did yall mount the air pump? There is no room under the hood or fire wall and the directions say to keep it out of moisture so under the truck can't be good right?

I've got mine mounted on the frame underneath the drivers side back seat. Havn't had any trouble with it.

I built a bracket that comes up off the heat shield bolts on the exhaust manifold. Then bolted the compressor to it. It doesnt get to hot. It has been that way since March 04. I dont have any pics, but in a week or so I could take some.

I just mounted my new compressors in my tool box, diamond plate cave for everything. tucked it up along the top edge of the box. water tight and not as noisy as having it in the cab.
