Aftermarket seat heaters to OEM?

Hello, I have OEM heated seats and the passenger side no longer works. When I tried dodge they told me that I would have to purchase new leather for $650 instead of just the lower grid. My question is, has anybody ever put an aftermarket kit in while still using the factory switch??? I would like to keep it original looking if possible. Thanks Corey

I don't see why that wouldn't work. As long as your current switch and wiring to the grid is good, the connection to an aftermarket grid should be fairly easy.

Removing/installing the seat covers is a piece of cake BTW.
