agreed! the blue ones are the same way... they can stand chrome a little more than the red ones, but if you put some black bumpers and toolbox on them, the look pretty slick.

I'm in the process of de-sporting mine... I lost the red grill for a black ST grill, black pipe bumper out back, black perma-tech coated toolbox... gonna have some black powdercoated wheels and a bull-nose bumper here before too long. and whenever I can get the time, I'm going to have the rockers perma-tech'd black too.

yeah, I almost landed a killer deal on a flatbed everyone around here wants $2k installed for a basic bed, so unless I can find a good deal on a used one (hard to find short beds!) I'm just gonna wait till I get into my own place and build one.

I did not read all the replys, but mine is a Laramie "Sport" I was told that it had all the options as the Sport model Laramie, if that makes any sense. I think the Sport Package is the last option for the Laramie in 2000. Truck has everthing else in it.

I, too, have always been an avid fan of the Sport models. I kinda miss the ol' 2000 Dodge RAM 2500.

My sister has an '01 1500 Laramine SLT. She thought she had EVERY option avaliable as she bought it brand new and wanted it loaded.

Well I recently bought my '01 3500 Sport its got everything that hers has(pwr window/door locks, wood grain dash, heated leather, overheadconsole, rear cup holders, ....) but mine ALSO has the quad head lights. Hers doesn't have that. Also I actually like my color matched bumpers(truck is all black). Hers has chrome accents which looks good on her truck but I think for my truck I like the all black.

I also have the rear sway bar and disc brakes, hers has the sway bar but no discs.

I just took the 5" rear blocks off mine and put on 2" to level up. I'm guessing all tow package 3/4 tons had them.
Here's Cornbread Red.
