4x2 wandering?
I have seen posts on wandering on 4x4's, but mine is 2002, 2 wd, swb, all stock, and I first noticed it at about 8000 miles. Before that it handled like a dream. Now it can be a chore to keep it straight. Pulls to either side, empty or with a trailer.

I planned to take it to the dealer, but that is 45 miles away and a major pain, so any advise would help before I do.

New to this diesel stuff, thanks to everyone out there for all the advise.

Bryan

Blafleur,

I have an 02 with about 5300 miles on it. I have noticed that mine is a lot more sensitive if I have 65 lbs plus air in the tires. I have to drive it more. With 60 lbs or less, it does a lot better.

Tom

Mine is super sensitive, always have to be right up on the wheel. It's better when towing my 5er and I have heard a little about an alighnment fix but don't know much about it yet. Others with the same truck have the same problem.
TSB 02-003-02
Toe In Specification Change

Models: 2000-2002 BR/BE Ram Truck

The specification for toe in has been revised to 0.2 degrees +or- 0.1 degree total toe in. This change has been shown to improve straight ahead driving performance and should be used whenever front end alignment is performed.
