Wandering problems on '01 Quad Cab LWB diesel 4x4
I just picked up a 2001 2500 diesel Quad Cab LWB 4x4 and I got some questions for you. First, the truck wanders a little going down the road. I can't turn the wheel more than a 1/4 turn when truck isn't moving even if I don't have my foot on the brake. The power steering pump hums from time to time also. Any ideas to correct some of these issues?<br><br>Thanks<br>RTM038

How many miles on the truck? Check the fluid to see what the level is and the color. It might need changing. Is it an 01 or 01.5?

there is a TSB on the power steering noise they replace one of the steering hoses. As far as the wandering goes check trackbar for play at ball joint. If loose replace trackbar I used a DT trackbar steers like a new truck(better than new).
