I had a 3rd gen for two years, and I LOVED those mirrors. I'd certainly like to do the swap for my second gen.
Were the factory flip up mirrors on the 02's not power or heated?

The factory tow mirrors are non power and non heated for the 94-02 trucks. If you still have the stock tow mirrors that you bought with your 03 truck you are pretty much set. If you don't you need to track down an 03-05 tow mirror so the arm for the mirror is the same as the one for the 94-02 trucks.
