Looking at a 2000 Dodge 3500 Cummins dually dump w/ the 47RE tranny

I know not all of that applies here but is there anything specific to this truck that I should be on the look out for or can expect i the future? Reading up on 2nd Gen but didn't know if there is something more specific to this particular truck. Thanks for the help!

 

Front end Front end and front end.
Maybe take a look at the front brakes.
I dont know of any 24v specifics, but other than the engine i essentially have the same truck.

 

ok thanks..........so dealing with the front end are you speaking only of hte brakes? he has the pads and rotors replaced 8k miles ago

 

No, he's mentioning the brakes only incidently. By front end I'm almost 100% sure he means the suspension and steering.

 

ok, what should i look for before buying? what can i expect in the future and under what conditions is something caused?
