Sorry for beating the horse again, but I just spent about an hour looking for the best way to modify my 96 caps to fit the H2s. I know its been done, but Id like to pic someones brain on how much to cut off the bottom and how to "fix" the ring. Thanks

 

on my 01 I cut about 1/2 inch off the bottom and trimmed the end of the rings a little at a time until it fit tight.
I think it was about 1/8", but you know the rule. You can always take more off, but not add any back on, so take it easy.

 

Thanks Jason, I thought i had read something like that, but didnt now it was for the caps with the ring all the way around. My neighbor has 3rd gen that just cut the bottom off the outer ring. I dont see how the double lug trick could work. The studs dont stick out past the lugs.
