Double check fuse in the left dash fuse box marked IOD may have a funny little cover on it.

well, i broke it, to get it out,

buddy had re-dyed my interior, and did it with the fuse panel off, so the overspray kind of hid how it worked.

and the fuse was good. (i changed it out with the spare, anyways)

it did reset the radio when I pulled the fuse.

The visor vanity lites, o/head console, map and glove box lights are on a 10amp fuse 12 in cab, also on the same fuse is the under hood light which often shorts out and blows the fuse. The lights that are dimable are on a 5 amp fuse 5 in cab also.

FWIW, the one bulb was blown.
the other bulb was out of the holder,

and something is the matter with the other map light

we checked it with a test light a few times, did not make any sense. seemed like door switches did not work right?

then put all new bulbs in (579/dome 194/map) and two lights work now, thanks

No interior lighting, No voltage!

Please help! I have Dash/Cluster lights, dimer working, no other interior lights or radio, no door chimes, seatbelts are locking up! Along with that, I have zero voltage going to the batteries, Voltage Indicator in cluster is working. All fuses are good, alternator good, my truck starts and runs great with a charge. I'm killing my battery! Any all help would be much appreciated.

98- 12valve or 24valve?
Did you check the 140A fuse for the generator in the PDC?
(That one is often a victim of an oil filter change)

Does your generator get field supply voltage?

Interior lights

Thank you much, It was the fuse after all! Fantom fuse I guess, I've pulled all the fuses several time and went as far as replacing them, and never seen one blown... lol

Well, now that you mentchen it, I did just change the oil and now I have o voltage going to the batteries! This is crazy. Guessing now It's the #140A you your speaking of. I'll check that out and let ya know the outcome. Thanks again for all the input, This Forum is pretty "Bad A**"

This would be a classic- filter wrench touching the hot terminal on the alternator- this kills the alternator fuse and the truck runs on batteries.
( I had a lot of customers trucks coming to me after an oil change, with new alternator and still no charging)
