2001 Hole in fuel supply line .no starty

Just solved a no start ,not holding prime issue.
A hole in my steel tubing rubbed by the fuel tank seam .Would not crank after it was shut off even for a second without bleeding the injectors...

The entire stock fuel supply and return systems on these trucks are prone to fail.
In the long run it's a cheaper and better fix to completely abandon the entire stock fuel system and replace it with quality diesel rated hose from engine to tank.
Marine grade hose will easily outlive the rest of the truck.

I'm going thru this same issue currently, its a common problem and I should have listened to infidel the first time.

I replaced the lines with brand new stock lines back in 2007... now 2011 and I need fuel lines again! Rusted thru in 4 years... The shop could be lying... they installed the replacement lines and maybe they rubbed thru somewhere?

Regardless its Time for Marine grade hose... if they wont install it I'll find someone who will.

I've had good luck with Trident A1 Fuel Line. It's at least twice as thick as the stock hose.
