Will not start

My truck will not start....any ideas?

I've checked the fuel pressure.....~14psi when first swithed on.
Drained and changed the fuel filter, reprimed.

Put 20 gals of fresh diesel in tank

Fuel pump runs when switched on

Still will not start.

well, whats happening? Does it just turn over and doesn't catch like there is no fuel? Or does it start to catch, cough and spit white and black smoke and then just die?

get a code reader and see if will read anything. if it cant communicate with ecm, your ecm is bad. i had that happen to me not to long ago.

I'm actually travelling, my son has borrowed my truck, and it and he are at home with it. I've been troubleshooting over the phone with him. It is spinning over fine, acts like it is not getting fuel. I've had him do the most obvious checks he can do. I'm was hoping it was not the ECM or IP.

What is the procedure for reading the codes?

Thanks for the help.

The codes are:P0500, P0460, P1693. I'll do a search for the codes. This is a 2001 ETH

How do I clear the codes? Will it reset the ECM when I clear the Codes?

Also, should I be able to hear the pump in the tank running when I switch it on? There is a pump in the tank that feeds the lift pump right?

Thanks for any help or ideas.
