will this hurt my engine?

When i put on my ejw/a i started drilling in the wrong spot on my exhaust menifold. It didnt go all the way through but i must have came really close because tonight i started hearing a whistleing sound and checked it out when i got home and it is coming from that hole (see pic) Is there anyway to fix this without replacing the manifold?

No it won't hurt your engine, but yes it will hurt your performance. Tap it and stick a bolt in there to seal it up.

Theres a permatex type stuff in a tube, it will seal the hole with the bolt.

No, just try to get a real short bolt. The hole doesn't look very big so you should be able to find a short bolt for it. Having a leak in the pressure side of the manifold is worse than having a bolt sticking in there imo. Bolt won't hurt it anyway. Some guys have run two pyro probes in the manifold before. And you know the pyro probe is pretty big.

If you don't want to tap it you could take it to a weld shop and have them plug it. It wouldn't take much time or effort!
