Where to tap into trans lines

Where to tap into trans lines

I asked on another thread and no response, so I'll try again, no usable information on search either . I am installing an aux trans cooler and I don't know which line I should be tapping into. Is there a barbed fitting that I can install directly on the radiator (or stock cooler) for the one side, and do I have to flare the stock trans line , or is there a fitting that can be screwed onto it also? I know lots of people on this site have installed aux trans coolers, just looking for a little information

Below is a link to the install instructions for the Super Cooler that I installed on my transmission, might give you some ideas for your install. I used compression fittings that came with the kit. The instructions show where to cut the lines and install fittings.

What is the length and width of the cool coil assembly thanks ED I need to add a trans cooler to my transmission.

The cooler that came with my kit is a B&M hi-tek cooler with a thermostatically controlled fan attached. This cooler comes in two different sizes but I believe the one I have is the small one in the link below, (10" X 7.5"):
