Question Where can you check LP pressure?

Easy one here boys. I think there are 2 places to check the LP pressure. I've got a Briar Hopper guage and hooked it up to the Schrader valve on the injector pump, but the line is too short to tape it up on the windshield to check it while driving. Where's the other place located? BTW, I'm getting 13 lbs at idle, and around 11 when I tromp on the pedal in park.

That's the only place I know of, without getting tapped banjo's.

How bout putting the line straight back to the windshield through the cowl area?

It should be long enough, all the genuine Briar Hopper guages I've seen had plenty of hose.

Or, just run it out the side of the hood, and tape it there oriented so you can see it if you squint just right.

OK phox, thanx. I thought there were 2. I'll try your suggestion. It's a genuine Briar Hopper. I think the hose is 30" or so. It actually reaches the windshield, but is so low, it's just above the dash and pointed downward so it's hard to read. I was surprised that with 63K on the LP, it would be still strong, but I'm not complaining!

My 01' had 2 shraders but I replaced them all with high flows, now I can't remember where the 2nd one was, but I remember thinking it wasn't much closer for my briar hopper, which I lost somewhere!
I got a small mechanical FP gauge and some hose, I put a 1/8" needle valve in the banjo and and hooked the gauge to that, it is all under the hood, once a week I run it up thru the cowl and put it under wiper to check pressure, the little valve is always turned off except when checking FP. Sort of mickey mouse but I didn't have a good place to mount it inside at the time.

Should be a shraeder fitting on your fuel filter canister also... Points towards the rear.

if you need to extend the hose, just pick up an air conditioning charge hose. they come in a variety of lengths and they are relatively cheap, available at most automotive parts houses. hope this helps.
