did you install the boost elbow with the box? or mod the wastegate if you have an auto trans?
1. I don't shut the truck off until the EGT drops to 300 PRE-TURBO
2. Flat ground 700-800
3. I can easily pass 1500 if i stay in the throttle.
Two points I'd make:
get a MUCH better breathing air filter and housing, not just a drop-in element.
adjust your wastegate for ~35 boost MAX with an HX35-12 (manual trans) and ~32 MAX for HY35-9 (auto trans)

1. In cold country this can drop as low as 200-250*F at idle... With a jake on it will idle abou 400-450*F

2. In stock form I running about 800-900*F and boost is about 10 PSI on flat ground.

3. WOT I've seen as high as 1250-1300*F with 19-20 PSI of boost.

Now these temps can vary with the amount of boost you run and also the outside air temp. Like right now this morning its 25*F so I would figure my MAX EGT temps might be about 900*F @ WOT

One last factor in this is altitude. I'm running between 1,300 ft to over 6,500 ft normally so this will offset the EGT and BOOST numbers too.

It'll toss an overboost code at you.

You need a box to override all those types of codes.
