what year did they start offering the high idle and the 3 cylinder high idle? and what has to be done to have them activated ?

 

I would think that 98.5 was when the feature was integrated into the ECM. You can either talk to a dealer near you and see if they will do it. Takes like maybe 5-10 minutes so they shouldn't charge you much, if anything. Or if there is someone around you with a Smarty. They can activate it for you with that as well.
